The 26th Annual Pacific Rim Whale Festival is now just around the corner. With similar such festivals in California celebrating the departure of the Grey Whales from their area, the Pacific Rim is set to officially welcome the magnificent creatures back to our area.
West Coast Aquatic Safaris is very excited to announce that with a picturesque day in Tofino we now have WASCO our 12 passenger vessel back in the water and ready to go for our first trip of the season on March 3rd.While Whale Festival officially celebrates thereturn of the whales, we have actually been seeing them in local waters already. With Greys spotted around the Long Beach area and Transient Orcas in several areas over the last couple of weeks we are anxious to get going.
Next week NANUQ our 36 passenger catamaran will find her way back into the water and each vessel will be fully operational during the festival for either whale watching or trips to the spectacular Hot Springs Cove on a daily basis.
If you are looking at the weather and have concerns about your comfort, please rest assured that West Coast Aquatic Safaris has you covered and warm in our heated cabins.Indoors or out you will find the best experience and value when you choose WCAS for you family adventure.
