Bite Into Some Crazy Goodness at Mad Chef Café in Courtenay, BC

Mac Chef Café is one of those familiar places I frequent every time I’m in Courtenay, BC. First off, you don’t go there just for some great food, but more importantly for the overall experience it offers. As you step into its interiors, you’d instantly feel right at home with its sleek, minimalistic appeal. It’s one of those feel good place you would love to hang out with your friends, which explains its popularity among the tourists and locals

Good Food Served Hot

In fact, many would agree that everything there is consistently wonderful — from the service staff, the chef, the ambience of the place itself and the total enjoyment that they deliver in every plate.Their tuna taco is definitely my personal favorite, which comes with high recommendations. It also happens to be a favorite of many, as you will see this dish ordered very often.

If you care for some salads, the Seafood Bowl is another musty-try dish. Made with succulent scallop medallions and wild salmon, along organic leaves and organic sprouts, it is topped with out of this world chili-miso mustard dressing. If you are a true lover of desserts, the Chocolate F Bomb, is definitely the bomb! Featuring a rich and decadent treat of double chocolate brownie, topped with one big scoop of ice cream, along with sautéed Kahlua bananas and a fresh blend of mango and pineapple, this one is definitely a clear winner.
