If you have never been to Quadra Island, BC before, then this foodie event may be the best introduction to this part of the Gulf Island chain.
At the Table is a food and drink series that connects inspired, delicious meals together with award-winning beverages from Vancouver Island in the forms of mead, wine, spirits, ciders, and crafted beer. Now in its second year, the At the Table series is once again held by Gowlland Resort’s Executive Chef Mariana Gabilondo and winemaker Jill Ogasawara from Southend Farm & Vineyard to bring to Quadra Island visitors some of the best cuisine Vancouver Island has to offer.
Tickets include a 4-course meal with pairings of wine/beer/spirits, in addition to a short presentation by the chef and winemaker to present at each course.
There will be three more at the table events after this one, scheduled on: Dec. 6, 2014; Feb. 7, 2015; and Mar. 7, 2015. Each menu and wine/beer/spirits will differ on these evenings.
