Events Nanaimo

Saturday, December 6, 2014 – Allison Crowe’s Nanaimo Tidings – 7:30pm at the Port Theatre in Downtown Nanaimo, BC

Born and raised right in Nanaimo, BC, Allison Crowe’s music has spread across the globe, even earning herself cheers and greetings from Hollywood. Now, she’s returning to her home town to spread some good cheer and great music.

Tidings delivers joy and thrills from all-time favourite Christmas songs and carols, as well as showcasing some of Nanaimo’s best talent. Opening the evening to this musical occasion includes Allison’s very own mentors for music since she was a teenager: a lineup curated by singing teacher Andrea Bertram (from Andrea Bertram Studio) and stage, concert, and tour band leader Rick Becker from Woodlands Secondary.

There will also be a lineup of guest artists from Nanaimo’s very own secondary schools, elementary schools, Kirkwood Dance Academy and Andrea Bertram Studio, all gathered together to accompany Allison Crowe in this holiday seasonal and musical event.
