Friday, February 13 to Saturday, February 14, 2015 – Islands Agriculture Show – 8:30am to 4pm at the Florence Filberg Centre & Native Sons Hall in Courtenay, BC – a 40-minute trip from Qualicum, BC
The one and only agricultural trade show and conference in Vancouver Island, the West Coast, and the Gulf Islands that serve the farm and food communities, the Islands Agriculture Show gathers together farmers, farm organization members, equipment dealers, rural landowners, and service providers to educate the general public about agriculture.
It is a wonderful opportunity to meet the people behind farming and raising crops. We can certainly all learn a great deal from them.
The event is packed with 16 educational workshops that tackle all things agriculture including business planning, funding programs, agronomy, and more. There are also over 60 exhibitors showcasing high tech farming equipment. If you have kids, bring them along – they can participate too by engaging in learning and playing with or perusing the antique machinery displays.
