Saturday, March 7, 2015 – Festival Nanaimo: Canadian Songwriters Royal Wood & Tillers’ Folly – 7:30pm at the Port Theatre in Downtown Nanaimo, BC

Nanaimo is holding its very first annual festival called Festival Nanaimo! This new event will take place on separate days throughout March 2015 and is guaranteed to provide lots of fun for every one of every age, ranging from free family events to special occasions at the Port Theatre.

The next event taking place will be the performance of Royal Wood & Tillers’ Folly, two excellent Canadian songwriters who will take to the stage at the Port Theatre. Tillers’ Folly will start off the show with their wonderful modern-day storytelling skills, wrapped together with songs based on their being on the road and all about their home in the Pacific Northwest.

Royal Wood will then be performing after Tillers’ Folly at 9pm, showcasing his best alternative-pop songs. For those who are interested in hearing more of his music, there will be a new release of his 5th studio record album “The Burning Bright” on March 18, 2015. Royal Wood has been critically acclaimed world-over since he won the title of “Songwriter of the Year” by iTunes in 2008, and the musical achievements have kept on coming these past few years.

Come join us at Festival Nanaimo for what is sure to be a great musical event!
