Friday, April 10, 2015 – 5th Annual Cumberland Mountain Film Festival – 7 to 10pm at the Cumberland Cultural Centre in Cumberland, BC – a 15-minute trip from Courtenay, BC
The fifth annual Cumberland Mountain Film Festival is happening this April. This grassroots event is a showcase of films that focus on adventure and outdoor sports shot in various locations in Vancouver Island. Proceeds of the festival will go to the Cumberland Community Forest Society.
This organization is dedicated in preserving the forest lands surrounding the village of Cumberland. So far, the organization has bought more than 150 acres of forest land. It continues to raise funds to buy and protect more forests in the area.
