For the past 11 years, the Cowichan Aboriginal Festival of Film and Art has celebrated the amazing talent of filmmakers, artists and performance artists. This year’s organizers are set on using art and film as media for sharing this talent to the rest of the world.
Cowichan Valley in southern Vancouver Island provides a picturesque backdrop to this wonderful event that combines art, entertainment, culture and tradition. The art show will happen from April 1 to 30, and the film festival will take place from April 22 to 25. There will also be workshops, awards, and film showings to watch out for.
