Events Nanaimo

Saturday, April 4, 2015 – Downtown Easter Spring Fling 2015 – 10am to 2pm at the Diana Krall Plaza in Downtown Nanaimo, BC

Downtown Nanaimo will be celebrating Easter this year with a grand event fun for the whole family! At the Easter Spring Fling, you can enjoy crafts, face painting, bouncy castles, magic, live entertainment, and a visit from the Easter Bunny!

Start off the morning by dropping by at the Pantry Restaurant in Port Place Mall, which will be offering a children’s sized Easter Spring Fling pancake breakfast all day long. Then be sure to catch one of two live performances taking places by children’s entertainer Ian Johnstone, who will encourage kids to sing along with him and a banjo. Performances for Ian take place at 10:30am and 1pm.

Kids who want to get messy will get their chance when they attend the Spring Potting Station, where they can plant their own seeds and grow their own spring vegetables or flowers in time for the season. There will also be Twiggly Wiggly the Clown, a skillful clown and magician rolled into one, who will be performing throughout the day; don’t miss out on his repertoire of stage magic, juggling, balloon twisting, and more!

Each child who attends will receive a special goodie bag with Easter treats and a craft (note: only while supplies last).

Join us in downtown Nanaimo for this great annual event!
