The Malahat Review is a well-established Canadian literary journal founded in 1967 that features modern poetry and fictional works of local and international authors. Since it was launched four decades ago, it has been in the forefront of influencing and shaping Canadian literary landscape.
Its annual literary symposium, WordsThaw, is one of the most anticipated literary events in the country. It is full packed with panel discussions, poetry readings, poetry classes, one-on-one critiques, and more. Some of the topics to be tackled in the panel discussions are children’s literature, creative nonfiction, minority writing, and self-publishing.
