Art for Humanity is not your usual art exhibit. This one by Theo Dombrowski is a fundraising event for the organization Doctors Without Border, specifically for an emergency relief program in Syria. Also to be featured in the exhibit is a set of paintings created by the Children of Chukumuk, a small Mayan village located in Guatemela that was recently destructed by a landslide.
Dombrowski was trained in the Banff School of Fine Arts as well as in the University of Victoria. He is famous for his beautiful landscape artworks and illustrations for his Secret Beaches guidebooks, featuring Gulf Islands and Vancouver Island.
