Victoria Events – Exultant Spring – Saturday, June 4th, 2016

Events Victoria

When spring comes in, expect a breath of fresh air and a vibe that signals new beginnings. Just in time for this is the much awaited Victoria event titled Exultant Spring. Conducting an ensemble of six soloist, choir and orchestra is the Pacific Opera Victoria’s music virtuoso Timothy Vernon. Exsultate Jubilate, which Mozart wrote when he was only 17 years old, is the main highlight of the performance. Other works that you will hear in this event include Georg Philip Telemann’s Die Tageszeiten and Michel Corrette’s Laudate Dominum (1765). Vivaldi’s “Laudate Dominum” gives the music festival a touch of French Baroque making it even more interesting.
