Victoria Events – Colour Your Palate 2017

Events Victoria

It’s that time of the year again when chefs gather together for an evening of good food for a good cause. Colour Your Palate returns to Victoria BC for its tenth year in a row, where up to 15 chefs go head-to-head in this culinary and artsy competition/fundraiser for the artsREACH program.

Chefs have received a full month in advance of this event to draw a top secret colour. Using that colour, they must design a beautiful, delicious, sweet or savoury canape in either green, red, orange, yellow, or purple. Each canape is judged blind by experts in the culinary industry and will be awarded with each of the following: Most Colourful Creation, Best Tasting Savoury Creation, and Best Tasting Sweet Creation.

What’s in it for you, you’re wondering? Why, a glass of promotional wine made by participating wineries, door prizes, a silent auction, a mysterious top prize, and the chance to sample the chef’s creations and cast your vote for your favourite canape in the People’s Choice Award! The first 100 tickets purchased to this event will land you the chance to win a very special prize draw.

Please note that this is an adults-only (19+) event. To purchase tickets online please visit the official website or their Facebook page.
