Events Tofino & Ucluelet

Tofino events, Rip Curl Pro Tofino concept

Love to surf? Have you always wanted to test your skill but haven’t found the chance? Then grab your board and join in with Canada’s largest surfing competition, Rip Curl Pro Tofino. Now in its 11th year of running, this Tofino event is also known as the Canadian Surfing Championship created and hosted by the Canadian Surfing Association, and is the only contest in Canada that is open to all known divisions which include: Pro Men, Pro Women, Masters, Men’s Longboard, Women’s Longboard, Junior Men, Junior Women, and Children.

Come see Canada’s best surfers as they compete for the title of Canadian National Champion. Over 150 surfers in 11 separate divisions will test their skills and vie to win $25,000 in cash and prizes at Cox Bay in Tofino. Coming off the event’s 10th anniversary last year, the event’s organizers have moved the contest to an earlier date in order to maximize the likelihood of high quality surf during this year’s competition. Previous champions Pete Devries and Noah Cohen will be returning to take back the title of the Rip Curl Pro Champion since Californians have dominated the event in the past two years.

Event registration is available online. Please visit the official website for more details.
