It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s…all kinds of planes! Get ready to watch the skies as Victoria’s Largest Little Airshow returns for its 16th year. Held every summer in Michell Park just outside of Victoria, R/C pilots from all over British Columbia and the US will take wing with their scale models, giant scale 3D aerobatics, WW1 and WW2 aircrafts, and even turbine jets!
Over 30 pilots and thousands of spectators attend this annual event, and is fully funded by public donations. To date the event has raised over $265,000 for local charities! Proceeds this year will go to donations for CFAX Santas Anonymous.
Attendance is free, and even the parking is free! And if you can tear your eyes away from the spectacular sights in the sky, you’ll be able to see the huge static display of aircrafts, 50/50 daily prize draws, raffles, food, and kids activities.
Bring your lawn chairs and slather on some sunscreen! You can check out past videos and photos of the event on its Facebook page.
