Celebrate life in the southern Cowichan Valley area by joining in the fun at the Cobble Hill Fair! Since its beginnings in 1909, this annual event honours Cobble Hill’s roots in its agricultural history and rural living, celebrating life right now while cultivating the community’s future. This year marks its 108th year of 4-H in British Columbia and over a century of Cobble Hill’s Farmers Institute.
There are a ton of demonstrations and goings-on to expect at this year’s fair, including but not limited to the following:
- Pancake breakfast (starts at 7am)
- Parade at 9:30am
- Sheep dog demos
- Lunch and afternoon tea
- Kid’s play area
- Live entertainment
- A horse show in the lower field
- Vintage farm machinery
- And so, so much more
The fair regularly hosts more than 6,000 visitors. We’d like to thank all of the volunteers at this event as they are the ones who run the show!
