Do you love listening to choir performances? There is a festival dedicated to celebrating them in Nanaimo! Come and hear some wonderful music performed by local talent and choirs at this year’s Nanaimo Sings Festival. 6 concerts will be performed by 14 choirs both individually and en masse!
The majority of the festival will take place at St. Paul’s Anglican Church on Chapel Street in downtown Nanaimo. On Sunday the 25th join in at the Port Theatre for the festival’s Gala Concert, with its host and conductor Willi Zwozdesky, a noted arranger, composer, and choral conductor from Vancouver. In this finale over 300 voices will combine their talents to create an evening filled with beautiful music. This will showcase the diversity and excellence of choral music within the Nanaimo community.
