Looking for something to do this BC Day Long Weekend? Are you near or living in Comox and want to spend time with your family? Look no further then, because the Comox Nautical Days are coming back this year!
This is a free, family-friendly, fun-filled festival taking place in the Comox Marina Park. This annual event will feature games, nautical-themed competition, great entertainment and delicious food. All-time favourite performers are also making a comeback to this event, including Time Well Wasted, Reunion, Hawaiian singer and songwriter Anela Kahiamoe, Victoria’s Wild Sundays, magician Jason Verners, and many, many more.
Back by popular demand will be the H.M.C.S. Quadra, bringing with them public tours of ORCA Class Training Vessels. 19 Wing, Squadron 442 will be doing an Open Water SAR Demonstration. All this, plus the Ceremony of the Flags, are what really put the nautical into Nautical Days.
New to this year’s event is the Compass Adventures Gauntlet, which challenges stand up paddle boarders to embark on an ocean obstacle course. Returning are the showcases of Comox Valley’s local, talented artisans and their craft booths (over 100!), as well as the closing Quality Foods Festival of Lights Fireworks Extravaganza! And who could forget the food – pancake breakfasts, delicious delis, addictive mini doughnuts, and more.
Come join the fun in Comox for what is sure to be a spectacular BC Day Long Weekend!
