Friday, October 17 to Sunday, October 19, 2014 – Enchanted Halloween – 5 to 9pm Fri.-Sat. & 12 to 5pm Sun. at the Saanich Historical Artifacts Society in Saanich, BC – a 10-minute trip from Victoria, BC

Come to Saanich and celebrate the fourth year of a beautifully eerie Halloween wonderland, with artistic installations, costumed performers, live music, Halloween crafts, festive food and treats, and creative lighting and projections.

Enchanted Halloween is presented by Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island in partnership with Shine*ola Communications and Events. The event is a fundraiser in support of children and youth with health challenges on Vancouver Island.

Enchanted Halloween highlights includes train rides by Vancouver Island Model Engineers; a decorate pumpkin trail with interactive costumed characters and treats; specially crafted effects such as carved pumpkins, handcrafted lanterns, creative projections, and theatrical lighting to name a few special effects; games, hands-on activities and kids’ crafts with live performances all Halloween-themed; food vendors, treats, and many, many other fun surprises.

There is free covered parking and shuttle service from Gateway Park on Keating X Road (note: there is no onsite parking except for disabled visitors).

Enchanted Halloween will also take place the last weekend of October, from Friday the 24th up until Sunday the 26th.

Prices: Adults: $12.50. Students and seniors: $9. Family: $36. Children under 4 are free. Note: prices are higher when paid at the door.
