Saturday, November 1 to Sunday, November 2, 2014 – 25th Annual First Chance Christmas Craft Show – 10am to 5pm Saturday & 10am to 4pm Sunday at the Mary Winspear Centre in Victoria, BC

This annual event offers to showcase the best of Victoria’s local artists and artisans, with lots of great booths selling all types of unique crafts to give shoppers a head start on the holiday season.

There will be pottery, metal works, sculptures, wood working, glass and yarn works, weaving, body & skin care, jewelry and sweet & savoury treats all for sale. Meet the artists who put all the hard work into making these spectacular items in a festive atmosphere as you try and find the perfect gifts for your loved ones!

For this 25th year of the annual event, the fair’s creators has joined up with Jill Lousie Campbell to raise funds for Power to Be, an organization that puts together adventurous programs for youth and families in need of support. They assist those living with a disability by strengthening their connection to nature and finding inspiration to discover their limitless abilities with the help of their caring staff, specialized equipment, and network of community-based connections.

Admission covers access to both days of the event as well as hourly door prizes from the vendors.

Those who submit their tickets at the main entrance will have the chance to win the grand prizes of up to $1200 in value for the first prize, with a $700 value second prize and a $300 value third prize. Tickets will be on sale throughout the event.

Miss out on the First Chance Fair? No problem – there will be the Last Chance Christmas Craft Show on December 13th to 14th, 2014. The prize draw winners will be announced at 2pm on Dec. 13. Don’t miss out!
