Thursday, April 2 to Sunday, April 12, 2015 – Isle of the Arts Festival – various times at various venues on Gabriola Island, BC

Gabriola Island is famous for helping people discover their most artistic and creative selves. One of the best ways to do so is by attending the annual Isle of the Arts Festival, where over 40 workshops and events will be taking place.

Enjoy, celebrate, and explore Gabriola’s arts and culture scene with theatre arts, fibre arts, poetry, painting, printmaking, and more. Each workshop is designed to be hands-on so you can walk back out in to the world with a fresh outlook on new creative or cultural mediums. You may even be able to take something home that you created yourself!

Highlights of the festival include the following:

  • Launch event: Words & Wine: Poetry, Prose and Storytelling
  • Rock the Casbah Night Market
  • Movie Night: Art and Craft
  • Raspberry’s Reincarnated
  • Student Art Show
  • Artist Appreciation Street Party
