Thursday, April 30 to Sunday, May 3, 2015 – Cascadia Poetry Festival – various times at various venues throughout Nanaimo, BC
A highly-anticipated Nanaimo festival, the Cascadia Poetry Festival is an annual gathering of artists, writers, scientists, and activists who collaborate and forge deep connections to fans of poetry and the arts through workshops, late night readings, performances, fairs, and many more occasions.
For four days, some of the country’s best poets and literary talents will gather and discuss their philosophies and stories at Cascadia. Founded by the Seattle-based, not-for-profit society called SPLAB in 1993, Cascadia has become a major event in Nanaimo in April/May. This will give you one of the best learning experiences in this lifetime.
Those interested in volunteering at this event can register online at the official website.
