There’s going to be a fun-filled event this March in various locations in Tofino, and of course, at the Pacific Rim National Park Preserve. Over 25,000 greys whales are set to arrive from the Baja Peninsula, and are on their way to the Bering Strait of Alaska. We’re giving them the warmest welcome. This event is said to be an “all-out celebration of coastal living”. Apart from welcoming the grey whales, there will also be plenty of educational seminars about marine life, inspirational talks, children’s activities and games, culinary events, interpretive walks, and First Nations cultural workshops, among others. This festival is now on its 30th year.
