The Parksville Beach Festival has drawn hundreds of visitors from all over for the last 34 years. The event’s highlight is the Sand Sculpting Exhibition and Competition, which is great testament to the immense talent of Canadians. The competition is open to all professional and master level sculptors. It lasts for 30 hours that will spread through four days. Even if you’re not joining the contest, for sure, you’ll have so much fun looking at the creations, and how each of these is created by hand. Don’t forget to bring your camera so you can capture these amazing masterpieces. Other fun activities to watch out for are the Art in the Park, Outdoor Summer Concert Series, and Beach Blanket Bingo.
