At the Artisans Festival, you’ll get to enjoy the beauty and grandeur of the Kitty Coleman Woodland Gardens, which is said to be an “act of love” created by a man who wanted to share his talents and dreams with the local people of Courtenay. The 24-acre garden land is a product of years of daily hard work. And its highlight is of course the “most beautiful of all shrubs”—the rhododendron. There are more than 3,000 rhododendrons planted in this garden. They come in different sizes and varieties. Walking through the gardens will surely take your breath away.
