Winter Salon at the Eclectic Gallery in Victoria is a show featuring the new works of a bunch of talented local artists. It features a wide range of styles, media and technical innovations. For example, the works of Alanna Spareness are not your usual paintings, but are made using a combination of oil pigment, resin, and photo transfer. She also uses a blow torch to achieve an extraordinary visual effect that seems to fuse together the layers of the artwork. Some of the other artists to be featured include Bond Martina, Chris Alers Desiree, Carolina Tudela, Brian Wenger, and Linda Skalenda, among many others.
