Writers! Do you want to celebrate your art with several others? Do you live within Victoria? Then you’re in luck! UVIC is once again hosting The Malahat Review’s fifth-annual literary festival called WordsThaw, taking place this year from March 16 to March 19. Come celebrate Canadian writing with a focus on Indigenous literature!
There are several lectures and literary events taking place including the Friday night Words on Ice gala reading and a Lansdowne Lecture by Richard Van Camp, the author of Dancing Snow: The Art of Modern Storytelling. Stop by as well for the various panel discussions, one-on-one workshops with many local writers, and a Master Class workshop conducted by Joanne Arnott.
