Victoria Events-Pacific Links Bear Mountain Championship

Golfing fans will not want to miss out on this event! The annual PGA TOUR Championship returns to Victoria at The Westin Bear Mountain Golf Resort & Spa. Come out and support your favourite champion player in three competitive rounds of tournament play at one of the largest golfing events held on Vancouver Island.

This event features the world’s premier golfers ages 50 and up competing for $2.5 million US dollars. 81 top champion players competed last year for the grand prize and the tournament saw more than 27,000 spectators coming out to watch the event unfold, while all rounds of the tournament were broadcast live on TV to over 200 million homes in 84 countries across the globe. Last year’s championship was won by World Golf Hall of Famer Colin Montgomerie (aka “Monty” by his fans), and he will return to defend his title at this year’s tournament.

The Westin Bear Mountain Golf Resort & Spa is well-renowned for its luxurious amenities such as fine dining options, its award-winning Sante Spa, and the Bear Mountain Golf Academy–all in all, a natural pick for this golfing championship.
