A favourite Duncan event makes a comeback! Now in its 149th year, the Cowichan Exhibition honours Cowichan Valley agriculture with its themes, which change each year. This year’s theme is “Bee Cause Bees Matter”, dedicated to the preservation and prevention of losing our country’s honey bee population, as well as honouring beekeepers and the honey-producing process. Take this chance to see beekeeping happen in real time!
In addition to the themed activities, you can participate in or check out the following attractions:
- Logger sports
- Tractor pull
- Livestock and agriculture-themed competitions
- Sheep dog demos
- Vintage tractor parade
- Live music and entertainment including Completely Creedence, a CCR tribute band
- Midway with games, prizes, and rides
- Educational booths and Kids Corral
- Zucchini races
- Food and drinks
- And much, much more
