Join the Nanaimo Harbourfront Library this year to commemorate Remembrance Day.
Crafts for kids will be available all day long. If you’d like to tell your Remembrance Day story, tell it and it will be recorded for the library’s local oral history collection. At 1:30pm there will be a very special Virtual Reality exhibit where you can explore the various Canadian War Memorials. An author reading will be held at 2pm of “The Storks Came Back” and “We Don’t Talk About That”. And at 3pm there will be a movie screening of the film “And We Knew How to Dance: Women in World War I”.
Admission is free to the event. For more details e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
