Courtenay Winter Events-3rd Annual Holiday Resort Walk

Looking for something festive to do this year? Are you planning to visit or do you live in Courtenay and the Comox Valley? This event may be right up your alley! The Crown Isle’s annual Holiday Resort Walk returns this year bringing all sorts of delightful things to do for those looking to get into the Christmas spirit!

Each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday this December you can visit the resort to see thousands of lights as well as holiday scenes and characters. Santa will be there to say hi! You can also play games and mini golf, travel down the Christmas Tree Trail, enjoy Christmas music and movies, check out the family S’more Station, and nibble on cookies with a cup of hot chocolate.

Admission to the resort each weekend is by donation (cash and/or non-perishable food items). The proceeds will go to assisting local charities Dawn to Dawn Action on Homelessness, the Boys & Girls Club, the CV Food Bank, and the CV Transition Society.

These are not the only festive things you can enjoy at this event either! The Crown Isle’s 16th annual Gingerbread Village will launch on December 1 in the resort clubhouse. Drop in and see some spectacular and delicious gingerbread creations as well as teddy bear baskets. You can vote your favourites in the Silent Auction! Then on December 19th from 5pm to 8pm, the Gala Finale will take place, with all proceeds going to local charities.
