Join the Ucluelet Aquarium Staff as they release their animals back into the ocean! The Ucluelet Aquarium is a catch-and-release aquarium located on the beautiful West Coast of Vancouver Island. The Aquarium specializes in local animals from the Clayoquot and Barkley Sounds and releases their specimens in December every year. Making a point of collecting some of their animals from the waters directly below the Aquarium, the Staff and guests are then able to release these critters right from the dock outside.
The Ucluelet Aquarium invites locals and visitors of all ages to help with this release and get hands-on experience with the amazing marine life of the Pacific Northwest!
Bring your own buckets and, if you’re a hot chocolate fan, bring along a mug as well!
