Victoria Winter Events-Chocolate & Churches Walking Food Tour

Do you have an appreciation for history and architecture? Do you have a huge sweet tooth – especially for chocolate? Are you looking for something to do before Valentine’s Day or in the spring this year with a loved one? Victoria BC is filled with two things that will help you find something to do: one is historic churches, the other is delicious chocolate! On Sunday February 11 and Sunday March 11, visitors and locals alike can take a Chocolate & Churches Walking Food Tour in Victoria. This 3-hour guided walking tour combines local history and architecture for places of worship with a tasty food tour where you can sip and sample chocolate from local businesses.

The tour will guide visitors to three places of worship including the St. Andrew Cathedral, the Christ Church Cathedral, and the Congregation Emanu-El Synagogue. This is your chance to get a behind-the-scenes look at these historical buildings and hear the stories of how they came to be built and what makes them so architecturally significant. The tour will also be stopping at local businesses to sample and sip chocolatey goodies! They will stop at a local chocolate shop, a bakery, a kitchen shop, and a cafe featuring toasty and decadent hot chocolate.

This is a great date idea or a sneak peek at some of Victoria’s unique history, both in its architecture and its sweets! Tickets to the tour can be purchased online at; click here to book yours now! Contact the tour organizers if you have any questions (see below for more details).
